About Jarumi Ventures Africa

Building resilient, revenue-generating, and impact-driven institutions across Africa

Our Identity

Jarumi Ventures Africa is a strategic advisory and systems-strengthening firm supporting nonprofits and social impact organizations to transition from donor dependency to sustainability. We bring private-sector precision to purpose-driven work, empowering organizations to strengthen their systems, diversify their revenue, and align their strategy for scale.

Our Mission

To equip purpose-driven organizations with revenue systems and strategies that sustainably scale impact and build long-term institutional resilience.

Our Vision

An African social sector where locally led nonprofits are financially resilient, accountable, and able to scale impact independently.

Our Story

Jarumi Ventures Africa was founded to bridge a critical gap in Africa's development ecosystem. Across the continent, thousands of nonprofits are doing critical work but lack the business acumen and operational stability to scale or survive donor fatigue.

While impactful in mission, most organizations particularly small to mid sized NGOs and CBOs struggle with weak revenue models, unstructured operations, and a lack of strategic direction. Jarumi's intervention shifts organizations from fragile to future-proof, unlocking their potential to generate revenue, create jobs, and scale their missions sustainably.

The Social Impact Sector

Across Africa, the social sector faces a critical sustainability challenge. We bridge the gap in embedded, long-term business development support.

Donor Dependency

Most nonprofits rely heavily on external funding, making them vulnerable to shifts in donor priorities or funding cycles.

Weak Infrastructure

Organizations often operate without clear strategic plans, strong leadership structures, or efficient internal systems.

Limited Revenue Diversification

Entities lack the tools or expertise to develop earned-income streams or alternative fundraising models.

Capacity Gaps

Widespread shortage of internal expertise in revenue modeling, compliance, and enterprise-level planning.

Our Leadership

Guided by experienced professionals with deep expertise in nonprofit sustainability and business development
